For a time, I have wanted to create a bar that was utilitarian and slightly larger for a more economical option for handmade soap. The Utility Bar is prepared with my original recipe, with small changes here and there depending on what needs to be used up, which will be reflected in the ingredients list. These mostly unscented bars can be left whole, or cut into pieces for ease of use or to create multiple bars.

7-7.5 oz. plain bar ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, tallow, beer, shea butter, sodium hydroxide, castor oil. Unscented.

7-7.5 oz. confetti bar ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, tallow, beer, shea butter, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, activated charcoal, mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, tin oxide, chromium oxide green, fluorphlogopite, manganese violet. Unscented.

7-7.5 oz. clay hot process bar ingredients: Olive oil, water, shea butter, coconut oil, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, fragrance, kaolin clay. Scented lightly in grapefruit and mangos.

4oz. plain clay bar ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, beer, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, bentonite clay. Unscented.

All of our cold and hot process soap oils and butters are blended by hand in small batches with a recipe that I have crafted over many years. No two bars are alike in design, but all bars contain the same skin-loving oils, butters, and additives that produce a lovely addition to your daily showering rituals. As with all soap, keeping the bar raised on a dish without water and allowing it to air dry between uses will result in a longer-lasting bar. Let it completely air dry in between uses.
